Go
to Bat for the Boys' Club!
The banner just inside the entrance
says it all, "A Place to Go...A
Way to Grow." Much more than
just a motto, this has been the
foundation of Gene Slay's Boys'
Club of St. Louis for almost 80
years. Open to young men ages 6-18
years old, the Boys' Club offers
recreational, house league and
varsity athletic programs as well
as activities and programs in crafts,
woodworking and computer to over
5,000 boys every year.
Each of the programs, sports and
activities share a common purpose
- to develop self-confidence, build
self-respect and foster a sense
of achievement in each member.
These independent programs emphasize
a focus on society, education,
vocation, health and character
development.
Gene Slay's Boys' Club of St. Louis
is a 10 acre oasis in the middle
of the Soulard Neighborhood of
St. Louis City. The Club is filled
with laughter, energy and the spirit
of young men who need your help.
The Boys' Club is a safe place
where the boys of today develop
into the leaders of tomorrow.
